Available on 6 and ¾” coloured vinyl in a limited edition of 17, the latest release from Newcastle band, Ape Cancer, is a riotous punk tour-de-force. The singer, Grunt Slowly, literally shits his way through 23 songs in four and a half minutes. The razors-edge guitar tone of Zach Handles was apparently achieved by literally playing the guitar with a razor, literally. Bass is by Colin Jones. If you do one thing this year find someone who owns this record and kill them and steal it. Then kill yourself and take the record to hell with you.
